This beautiful painting Moonlight is painted using acrylic on large canvas ready to hang. There's always a fascination about the moon isn't there? For me anyway, I even named my daughter 'Nila' means Moon. I love the depth of darkness beyond created using a black and brown acrylic blend with a hint of turquoise blue. You can build layers, textures, even depth but knowing when to stop is the hardest part. All sides are painted black so no framing required, if you want to add more depth then I would recommend framing but not necessary.
