I love the elegant simplicity of this pose. The quiet weight of the woman's head, and long hair resting in the moonlight. My figurative work is influenced by Henry Moore, and Milton Avery. They could capture the very essence of being. The edges of the canvas are painted white, it is wired and ready to hang.

Materials used:

12 oz. cotton canvas stretched over a 1.5"x 2" wooden frame. Oil paint over acrylic size.
