In this piece, I wanted to explore the contrast between light and darkness in a more abstract way. The mountain, only partially illuminated by a faint, almost ethereal light, emerges from a deep, all-encompassing darkness. The darkness represents both the physical absence of light and the metaphorical unknown, while the subtle pink and white hues on the mountain's surface hint at the first light of dawn or the last light of dusk. My goal was to create a sense of mystery and introspection, encouraging the viewer to contemplate the balance between the known and the unknown, the visible and the hidden. The minimalism of the composition allows the focus to remain on the powerful emotional impact of the contrast, inviting a deeper connection with the enigmatic beauty of the scene.
