Original artwork description:

I love the magic surrounding the hare. I've been lucky enough to see them a couple of times in the wild and try to capture the magic I felt when I saw them. I used an old map to illustrate the moors and fields in the distance.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
