Artwork description:

This is a rather complex artwork. With semi abstract art, where the artist is including a recognizable figure with pure abstract forms and color, the problem is always to mate the two in a way that makes both components compatable. Here I am using the female figure, the moon and the water as the recognizable elements, leading to the less definitive shapes and colors of the remaining parts of the painting….mostly the background. I have kept most of this painting within a pallet of warm, earthy colors that one might see during a moonlit night.

Moon Goddess is an original work of art. The printed image is laminated to 5 mil clear mylar.

The artwork is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This artwork will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will have a 1 inch painted border and a 1 1/2" wide wood frame and be mounted on tempered masonite. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
