Original artwork description:
The Montserrat series started in late 2019. When the pandemic closed everything down, I needed a series I could related my sense of isolation and claustrophobia to, as well as invent color schemes and mentally travel to somewhere I love. In 2015 I had a residency near Montserrat, a mountain range in Spain.
This composition is inspired by playing with my younger twin sisters behind my mother when I was young.
