Original artwork description:

This painting is very important to me, because it is where I live, and that is why it is titled "Montevideo", which means "I see a Monte", but despite being a work that shows the grandeur and infinity of the ocean, it could be anywhere in the world. Arriving by boat and seeing the distant city, always excites and makes us feel small in front of the greatness of our planet. From a distance, and this is something I am very interested in working on, the distant perspectives, the city is blurred, almost blurred with some contours that become recognizable as you get closer. There are no lateral limits, as if the painting could continue on both sides. It is painted entirely with a palette knife, precisely to generate movement, and a certain abstraction in the handling of the blue to turquoise tones that are mixed with black and white. Everything to give a sensation of freedom, being able to be the golden coast of any country. On the back of the canvas are the data of the same and the number of work records.
