This is the large version of my Grand Raid A4 prototype now scaled up here to A1.

Skiers, snowboarders, telemarkers and monoskiers unite in this race that has been running since 1992. The competitors form teams of two and have to pass through the check points along the course together for the best score. It's intense and wonderful to watch even if my boss sat me on a recent avalanche spot solo to get the best photographs of the event. Edition of 25 on 300MSG watercolour paper.

The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water oxidise to create Prussian Blue images.

Watercolour Paper, ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, water, photo negative
