"Hypolite, the monstrous hypsignathe" is a weird and offbeat artwork of a giant bat.
He is an endearingly zany creature from the bat family.
The monstrous hypsignathe is an incredible giant bat that truly exists and lives in rainforests in Africa.
Hypolite looks at the world with his big green eyes, his brown red trousers and dreams of not being scary anymore...
He belongs to the series of CalbinoOz, which received the jury prize in the Sculpture category at the 28th edition of the Salon des Arts de Chambourcy.

The piece is signed on the artist n the buttocks.

Material: dried calabash, surfine wood cellulose, blown glass, acrylic paint, protective varnish.
