Original artwork description:

Well, this is it - with this new piece I've now painted every flavour of Monster Munch currently available. In this instance it's the spicy 'Flamin' Hot' variety, launched in 1997 and featuring a grinning blue monster set against a strong red background. To give the painting a bit more artistic flair I've depicted the bag ripped open with some of the monster's paw-shaped crisps spilling out.

I've always loved the design of Monster Munch packaging, with its amazing graphic style design and lettering. Previous flavours I've painted include Pickled Onion, Roast Beef, and the short-lived 90s Vanilla Ice Cream variety.

The end result is a painting that would brighten up any room in the house.

The painting is A4-sized and comes unframed on high quality paper. I've taken a picture of it here in a black A4 frame as an example. It was completed in acrylic paint and Posca paint pens.

Size -
8.3 inches x 11.7 inches
21 cm x 29 cm
Roughly 1 mm thick

Painting is signed and dated by year on the back of the painting.

My style of painting and illustration is heavily influenced by classic pop art like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, modern day graphic design, kitsch, and everything from cartoons and animation, to food packaging.

Materials used:

Acrylic Paint, Paintbrush, Posca Pens
