This artwork is being part of "Monolithe" serie, one of a kind, made from resin with inclusion of semi-precious stones (amethyst, malachite ...), fossilized stones and various parts of recovery, signed JLL monogram on one side.
In this work, JL Lacroix explores a new way of conceiving sculpture with resin as the essential material, part of which is very well thought out - the method to be observed and the inclusions of various semi-precious stones - and a second, more random part where the resin is poured, without knowing whether the incorporated parts will appear as he wished in the final phase, after the resin has hardened.

This piece doesn't need anything along the time. It will stay as it is.
