This was painted in the old quarry at Monkton in Kent.
It was morning and I was with friends enjoying the tranquility of the place and remembering the paintings by Paul Cezanne in his local quarry.

It shows a lake view with trees and the quarry escarpment beyond.

It measures 10” x 12” unframed is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity. (ref 1553)
