Original artwork description:

Thought to be the oldest property in the Wye Valley, Monks Hall has foundation stones that are believed to date back to the 1100s, when the nearby Tintern Abbey was built. It is thought to have been built for the monks at the abbey, and was extended in the 14th century. It is a fascinating house set in the pretty little village of Brockweir, which is on the River Wye._x000D_ Although I painted this in oils, my aim was to achieve the look of a watercolour painting._x000D_ Painted on a canvas panel, it is not framed but can easily be put into ready-made 12"x16" (30.5cm x 40.6cm) frame.
