There is nothing stronger in this world than the bond between a mother and her child.This tiny baby monkey clinging on to its mother's back is a perfect example; these two look inseparable.
This is a pastel drawing on Pastel Mat, a very high quality pastel paper. This drawing is all about precision and detail, unlike watercolor where I focus on creating expressive paintings. I enjoy the clash and contrast of these two mediums and take it as a challenge that I will handle both with equal ease.
Pastel Drawings are to be framed behind glass just like watercolors, and you would need to get the help of a professional framer.However, once they are framed they last a very long time and are not prone to fading or discoloring.
