Artwork description:
During my trip to Laos I visited many rural villages. In Luang Prabang there's one located on one side of the Mekong river, accessible only by a short ferry ride. While waiting for the boat to arrive, I noticed this buddhist monk waiting on the quay, looking at the approaching boat. The subject was perfect: I intentionally overexposed my camera, to create a minimalist show by having a nice contrast between the water and his beautiful, orange tunic.
Limited edition of 25 printed on Pro Luster paper, 42x60 cm (comes with a white border for easy framing), with signed certificate of authenticity.
