Fall in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains creates a spectacular vista as the the quaking aspens burst in to color. Every year around September, Lisa takes her annual trip through Yosemite to bask in the fall colors, and find her inspiration.

This is an original oil painting on canvas, created in Lisa's signature deep impasto style. The thickly applied and large kinetic palette knife strokes create an explosion of movement and color, which sends the eye roving around the canvas.
