view of a lunchtime in a restaurant in Monaco in 1955 - this painting is based on a scene from the film "To Catch a Thief" I like the light in the scene, this is one of my favorite films and I think Hitchcock's best in terms of light and hence why I like to base paintings on scenes from this film, its a never ending source of inspiration.
