Original artwork description:

The initial project was one friend of mine who had cancer, she want me to do one artwork for the cover of a book, and she requested me 2 things: It had to had some colors because of the ties each month of the year and i've serched for their meaning, the second one was it had to have one warrior. I'll call to this friend the Thinkerbell, she is from the city where Portugal has born as country, there it says "here Portugal has born", and won it on a battle on the same castle that is on the artwork. The tattooed Thinkerbell has also the helmet from the king D. Afonso Henriques simbol of the city Guimarães. I tought to make the hair a mix of colors like the ones she has told me, when someone has cancer they miss their hair, that is the meaning, then i've searched girls with big hairs and found Diana Ross, its curious because i 've meet one Diana that is nurse on UCI. I thougt about Mona Lisa because it is there are some rumors that she could have died with hypothyroidism, meanwhile i've also meet someone with a similar cancer and i've chosen some landscapes she sent me taken by mobile phone and that is the scenario mixed with all of the things i've told before. So one is suffering from breast cancer and another from thyroid, and i've some cuts and stiches to the image, i dind want something abou cancer that was preatty or beautifull, and its not ... So i've made 4 cuts , breast, throat, brain, and chest ... some cases of people who had to deal with a cancer I knew, some are now death and some are still fighting, and i've asked them about how many stiches did they had and put that number, but that is not precise ... the photo with the iphone is from the Thinkerbell ive taken from one of his photos on FB since it would be side with one breast operated, i've also found one image from Mona Lisa all naked and thats why ive use that thing one one nipple. I also had in mind the famous work from Duchamp L.H.O.O.Q. and changed some letters even that it does not make the same sense, phonetically it also works, it didn't have to be perfect, but it did have to make sense. This was the work, even if i had already thought about this shit year and covid but i didnt wanted to mix cancer with covid because they are different, but yesterday when i showed the image to Thinkerbell she said she had got caught Covid, and i had to had that on the work, then the mask, and in the signature "this is so 2020", and yesterday the world has lost one person that the world considered it has a god, and the "hand of god", then i made the tittle: "Mona Lisa after Duchamp when D1OS has ."
