'Moments" is an original artwork created with acrylic colours on canvas.
The edge is painted yellow and ready to be hung up.
It will be sent with a certificate of authenticity.
I was beginning to experiment with layers of texture, created by a different medium. I applied a layer of white primer to the lower half of the canvas in order to create a rough landscape for the layers of vibrant red and warm yellow to cling to. Leaving the upper half untreated and then divided into distinct, horizontal strips, helped to give the impression of revealing multiple hidden layers behind the exterior. Those layers are deliberately darker and more foreboding, employing hints of inky blue peeking through the red, before being overwhelmed by the darkness in the upper strip of the painting.
My point of view:
I think that there is never a right or wrong way to make art.
The most important thing is trying. Do not raise any barriers that prevent you from expressing yourself.
Just do it and make something.
Please note that the background images are only used for display purposes and please consider the dimensions mentioned.
Acrylic colour & mixed media on canvas. Finished with final varnish to protect it against sunlight and dust.
