Original artwork description:
An early Cornish work, painted plein air in the garden of our cottage in Hellandbridge before being forced out by difficult neighbours who objected to my conservation work on trying to save badgers (about which I've written a book). A second painting 'Mombretia down steps' (qv) is of the same situation looking downwards.

Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
