Original artwork description:

An abstract work painted in Scotland but inspired by a visit to Timanfaya National Park, Lanzarote where the landscape is dominated by dramatic lava formations. One can only imagine what the boiling hot lava looked like as it erupted from the various volcanoes in the region. This work is painted on a deep profile canvas with the composition continued on the edges to allow hanging without framing if so desired.
