The cinematic quality and extreme weather of the Mojave, Sonoran and Chihuahuas desert has inspired the collection Desert Diary. It often feels familiar, like a place you know, but have only seen in a movie. I have travelled these deserts for many years, and no road trip or landscape ever feel the same because of the constantly changing light and shapes of the desert.
This image was awarded an Honorable Mention in Americana in the International Color Awards, 2022
