Original artwork description:

I love creating inventive typography and fonts and planning them out by hand like an old-school graphic designer. So for this piece I simply took the word 'art' and coloured the letters in tribute to three of my favourite modern artists or art movements.

The 'A' is an homage to pop artist Roy Lichtenstein's later brushstroke paintings, the middle 'R is an impressionist/pointillist style, and the final 'T' is a clear tribute to the modern art genius, Piet Mondrian.

Everything was painted by hand using acrylic paints, and the black outlines were done using a Posca paint pen. It's on high quality thick A4 acrylic paper and signed on the back.

PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. So the third image better shows what you'd be getting. While I may use elements of this painting to create prints in the future, this is the absolute original, signed on the back for authentication.
