Original artwork description:

I love creating inventive typography and fonts by hand like an old-school graphic designer. This particular piece of typographic art is the second part of a painting I originally made about fours years ago, where I spelled out the word 'art' using letters inspired by some of my favourite modern artists or art movements.

This second part is the word 'modern' spelled out in a similar way, using six more modern artists and art movements. They are as follows...

M = Jean Michel Basqiat
O = Yayoi Kusama
D = Keith Haring
E = David Hockney
R = Alexander Rodchenko and general Constructivism
N = Joan Miro

The end result is an eye-catching tribute to some of the best modern artists that would make a brilliant standalone piece, or would look great framed next to my original 'art' painting, as depicted in the final pictures.

It was made using acrylic paint and Posca paint pens on high quality acrylic paper. Please note that the painting comes unframed, but I've taken a few pictures of it in a black frame for display purposes. It's a normal A3 size though so it's easy to find a frame for it.

Dimensions -
11.69 x 16.54 inches
29.7 cm x 42 cm
Roughly 1mm thick

Postage will be tracked first class in a cardboard envelope or tube, with additional layers of plastic envelopes protecting it.

Materials used:

Acrylic Paint, Paper, Paintbrush, Posca pen
