I love creating inventive typography and fonts by hand like an old-school graphic designer. This particular piece of typographic art is the second part of a painting I originally made about fours years ago, where I spelled out the word 'art' using letters inspired by some of my favourite modern artists or art movements. _x000D_ _x000D_ This second part is the word 'modern' spelled out in a similar way, using six more modern artists and art movements. They are as follows..._x000D_ _x000D_ M = Jean Michel Basqiat_x000D_ O = Yayoi Kusama_x000D_ D = Keith Haring_x000D_ E = David Hockney_x000D_ R = Alexander Rodchenko and general Constructivism _x000D_ N = Joan Miro_x000D_ _x000D_ The end result is an eye-catching tribute to some of the best modern artists that would make a brilliant standalone piece, or would look great framed next to my original 'art' painting, as depicted in the final pictures. _x000D_ _x000D_ It was made using acrylic paint and Posca paint pens on high quality acrylic paper. Please note that the painting comes unframed, but I've taken a few pictures of it in a black frame for display purposes. It's a normal A3 size though so it's easy to find a frame for it. _x000D_ _x000D_ Dimensions -_x000D_ 11.69 x 16.54 inches_x000D_ 29.7 cm x 42 cm_x000D_ Roughly 1mm thick_x000D_ _x000D_ Postage will be tracked first class in a cardboard envelope or tube, with additional layers of plastic envelopes protecting it.
