Model session @ Rotterdam - 19-11-17 (sold)

Yesterday’s session at Rotterdam offered Gabriëlle, the model of that Sunday afternoon. She had great hip bones and was slender, thus showing great angles and triangles with her body. Since this was a 20 min. pose I used Pastelmat in order to fill up the tooth with Schmincke pastels (sides) so I got to lay planes quickly. Nowadays I’m all-in the mood for searching for new ways to present my art and I was drawn to the expressionist spectrum of rendering body shapes.
