Original artwork description:

I'm in love with fluid curves and transparent colour. This allows me to create these fields of colourful organic abstraction. Though the form remains similar, or develops gradually, I have a lot of space for experimentation in colour combinations, form, and the action of painting 'in the moment'.

I choose my titles after the work is finished. I look at the painting and imagine a vocal sound that matches it. I then make that into a word that I've never heard before. The magical thing is that I then search on-line for that made up word, and so often it's a name for a lake or a village or a desert or and artefact from another country. If I like the qualities of that place or thing, then that's the title.
