Park Wood, Talgarth, Black Mountains, Wales. January 2016.
Freezing fog in the woodlands above my studio covered the trees in hoar frost and then the sun broke through - it's all about being in the right place at the right time - and it rarely happens!
I make my prints using a cotton-based watercolour paper that emphasises the subtle colours and textures of the grasses, bark and other natural elements in the scene. The frame is a glassless wooden "floatframe". There is a small space around the mounted print which makes the print appear to "float" within the frame.
