"Misty Peonies"
2021

My main inspiration for this work were paintings by Dutch masters of the 17th century, realistic still lifes and flowers on a dark background. I wanted to create this misty mood and make these decorative flowers fit the modern interior. Oil in dry brush technique made these gentle flowers look realistic and impressionistic at the same time.

This artwork is made with oil on cotton canvas, coated with satin varnish for bright colors and clear permanent protection for years.
Canvas wrapped around the wooden frame, painted around the edges to compliment the artwork & doesn't need framing.

Painting is signed on the front and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Signed, titled and dated on the back.

The artwork will be shipped carefully packed rolled in a tube and shipped with DPD Express Service, fully tracked (around 7-10 days to arrive).
