This Acrylic Paint on High Quality 300 gsm Paper painting was done from life in the very beautiful location of Aviemore in the Highlands of Scotland, U.K. It is a painting of the view from our hotel room in Aviemore looking out across the Cairngorms National Park. The weather in this part of Scotland seemed to be constantly changing from bright sunshine to heavy rain within minutes. Just before I painted this picture the mountains were invisible as a huge storm engulfed them. As I painted this picture the sun was brightening the remnants of the low-lying clouds left over from the storm and the mountains were gradually revealing themselves again. I delicately built up the detail of this painting by overlaying and adding thin layers of transparent Acrylic paint on top of each other.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
