An autumnal mountain moorland, a canvas painted with the inspiration drawn from the undulating hills and highlands of the British Isles. Picture the Pennines, Forest of Bowland, Peak District, or Yorkshire Dales of Northern England; the grouse moors of the Scottish Highlands or Border Cheviots of Scotland and Northumbria; or perhaps Dartmoor or Exmoor, all shrouded in mist and blanketed with bracken. The artwork is rendered in a modern, minimalistic gestural impressionistic style, employing cool, muted autumnal greys and ochres with a hint of magenta to capture the essence and atmosphere of these wild, rural landscapes.

Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
