Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by sailing down the Canal du Midi in France on a misty autumn day. It was painted using gesso which was scraped into using a palette knife, then adding thin layers of acrylics and oils which were then sanded back to enhance the textures and atmosphere.
This canvas is sold unframed but if you'd like to buy it stretched and ready to hang please enquire (UK customers only). It may be possible for it to be delivered free to customers within 10 miles of my studio - please send a message if interested, or check shipping prices if you are further away.
