Original artwork description:

To experience California as it used to be, I took a painting trip to the California’s scenic Central Coast. Mission San Antonio de Padua sits within the “Valley of the Oaks”, and is located on eighty pristine acres on what was once part of the sprawling Hearst Ranch. As the day grew closer to the end, the radiant colors of sunset burst with many hues of red, orange, and yellow, making the hills behind the mission aglow in the setting sun. The glow of the radiant sunset was the inspiration for this painting.

Materials:
Oil on double oil primed Claessens Belgian linen on 3/16 Gatorfoam archival art panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.
The painting is listed unframed.
