This is the view of the pasture and grazing sheep at the historic Mission Ranch in Carmel-by-the-Sea. It sits on 22 acres with spectacular views of Point Lobos, Carmel River Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Once one of the first dairies in California, the rich history of this 1800's ranch was preserved and restored by former Carmel Mayor, Clint Eastwood.
Sitting on an outside deck of the Mission Ranch restaurant, you can watch the sheep graze in the meadow.
Materials:
Oil on linen panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. This painting is framed in a 2 1/8"-wide floater frame with a black rubbed finish with a warm reddish umber undertone. A floater frame gives an art the illusion of floating inside the picture frame without touching it, which creates an interesting visual detail and a sense of three-dimensional depth in the overall display. It allows you to see the entire canvas, which is valuable for a small 4"x4"painting.

Shipping estimates include the cost of packaging materials and courier fees.
