'Missing You' is a semi-abstract image based on a charcoal sketch of a sleeping figure.

This is a lithographic plate from which a small limited edition of prints was made. Once a print run is finished the plate itself is a reversed image of the prints. It often has marks and textures resulting from the printmaking process, which I particularly like as it adds to the depth of the image. The image is a blue-black colour from the oil-based printing ink that was used. Polyester litho is a thin paper-like plate with a coating on one side that resembles a stone surface and which can be printed from using relief ink.

It comes presented mounted on a board ready to frame. Please note that the image itself is 21.5 x 15.5cm and mounted it is 30.5 x 25.5cm.

All artworks posted within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed which (usually!) arrives the next day after dispatch before 1pm.

Artworks sent to Europe and beyond are sent by Royal Mail International Tracked, and usually arrive within a week of dispatch. The price for Global Shipping is set to cater for different sizes and weights of artworks; I always refund the customer the excess amount if the actual cost works out cheaper. International shipments may be subject to additional import taxes, customs duties or fees imposed by the destination country, payable by the customer on receipt.
