Original artwork description:

That magical moment before the sunset when everything gets still and you feel you could just keep walking towards the horizon... all the way into the open skies...and than the night comes and brings that amazing attentive silence with it...

I started this work as a twilight cloudscape but after accomplishing that first layer I've seen it overlapping with further shapes and textures - decided to render that too, creating this multilayered polysemic composition.
Very pleased with how much is happening there visually

The painting's in oil on quality canvas, gallery wrapped around a fine spruce stretcher (the wood's obtained from sustainable forestry - I've tarted paying more attention to this recently).
The sides of the work are finished matte black, so there is no need for framing; comes fitted with a hook and ready to hang.
