The painting Mirror symbolizes the parallel between the real mirror and the mirror inside us, between the image that others see us and how we see ourselves, as we really are. On the outside, we usually set our image the way we want others to see us, we show our better side. However, the true image, the true form of ourselves, will be revealed to us only if we look into our inner mirror, into our inner self, which we hide from others.
As a result, it often happens that we ourselves believe the image in the physical mirror - because it is apparently more pleasant to see ourselves only in a positive light. However, it is to our detriment. Maybe it is sometimes more difficult, more painful, or less pleasant to look deeper into our own interior, but if we don't do it, we deceive ourselves and thus block the way to our development, our growth, our better future...
