Original artwork description:

This serious little lady emerged from my paintbrush just before the summer solstice, as I was dreaming of long, lazy days of endless daydreaming and creating. It is completely unrealistic to think summers can be as carefree and relaxed as they were in my youth, but still a good idea (I think) to turn all the activity down a notch or two and breathe in an out.

Miranda and her feathered friends approve, I believe. She appears to be giving the idea thorough consideration, anyway. :)

"Miranda on Monday" - watercolor on paper, 9" x 12". Ready for framing.

Materials used:

watercolor on cold press paper
