Outside my studio window is this birdhouse, empty now but full of tiny bluetits last spring. It's not long now until its new occupiers move in...

This is a finely-detailed original one-off digital watercolour painted, finished and mounted on fine translucent silk.

It's supplied boxed and ready-to-hang in a frame designed to allow light to shine through the work itself. To protect it, I've backed the silk painting with UV-blocking acrylic and included an acrylic UV-blocking front panel you can use if you wish to help prevent the fading that all watercolour is prone to, should you want to hang it in a sunny spot.
