Original artwork description:
This original botanical painting features an unusual green and lilac flowered miniature phalaenopsis - orchid. I painted this from a live plant over many weeks eventually taking it out of its pot and washing the roots so I could finish the painting. The painting took three months to complete using many layers of paint to build up the detail and vibrant colours.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Signed & numbered limited edition giclee prints now available.
Each print is mounted in off white card and cellophane wrapped.
Mounted size is 51cm x 40cm
Materials used:
Hot Pressed Fabriano Classico watercolour paper with Windsor and Newton Watercolour paints.
