I grow & breed orchids. I love them, to me they are living sculpture. Naturally I end up doing paintings on this subject. So there’s a few paintings based on this orchid subject…. some have sold & some really nice ones are still for sale.
My paper is a traditional handmade mulberry paper made in Thailand. The paper is a thick parchment type paper, strong yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.
The close up picture gives a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
Please note that you can purchase in one order up to 3 paintings of this same size (small painting category) or smaller to be included in the same 1 shipping fee.
Packaging for my small paintings like this one is sealed in plastic sleeve, in a padded hard plastic file case, and envelope.
