Minerva and the owl:
The expression on her face reveals a mystery, look into her eyes and you find wisdom and peace of mind, her owl companion sits on her shoulder, behind her are the branches of a birch tree. Minerva has some wisdom to impart on you? What is she telling you?
During lockdown I started painting portraits of people, mostly to ease the isolation. This woman struck me as someone who definitely has something to say. The bright blues will brighten anyone's home and this art is definitely a conversation piece. It's a piece that you can come to several times and see different things. 
What room would you hang her up in?
All my art is carefully packed, it's a luxury item after all. I include a certificate of authenticity,and hanging hardware is installed. The sides are painted so you don't have to frame it, but if you do, don't put it behind glass, oil paintings don't do well behind glass.
