I have always like the idea of the owl representing wisdom, and this is a complex layered work that I worked on for about a month. I find portraits fascinating, this one of a girl and her owl really inspired me to tune into the whole symbolism of the owl.
This is a 16x16 inch piece rendered in oils on canvas board, easy to ship and also easy to frame.

Owls are sacred to the Goddess of Wisdom, in this case I've used the Roman version of this particular deity. It signifies magic, wisdom, and ancient secrets.

This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity, and will be wrapped up carefully to avoid breakage during shipping.

The style is a mix of impressionism and realism, I really feel that portraits need to look out to you.
