Original artwork description:

These orchids, inspired by the recent orchid display at Kew one dull January, transported my mind away to distant climes after the UK's second lockdown due to the pandemic. The turquoise blue mixed with pops of bright bejewelled petals made me slow down and 'breathe'...

This was created during a time when I wanted to think of travelling abroad, I completed the painting in an exaggerated palette, which helped my mind to travel when completing it.

My hope is it inspires the viewer towards their own inner journey of peace and inner travel. But what does it say to your heart?
