Original artwork description:

Gabriel was reading a book in an old barn when he suddenly realised that there was an owl flying about. Being such silent creatures, he hadn't initially noticed. The bird was hovering inside the barn trying to find a place to land. When asked what he was up to, the owl said 'trying to mind the brouhaha while alighting.' There were several words in that sentence that Gabriel didn't understand, but he took it to be sound advice nonetheless.
