When snow drifts are still higher than human height. Russia celebrates Women's Day on March 8. On this day it is customary to give branches of mimosa. Mimosa does not tolerate our frosts well. It stiffens, dries, and crumbles. But our men are very resourceful and inventive. They get somewhere these flowers in a rustling package and give them to women. Women become happy. Here I was lucky.
The painting is done with oil paints on canvas on acrylic ground.
In a vivid impressionist manner.
