Artwork description:

In nature mimicry is for survival. In order to get noticed you may have to imitate to attract!
This artwork was made in stages through the technique of screen-print.
First the colour is painted for the 'wings", then the solid background, followed by the delicate 'lace' areas with a final varnish over the top to make them standout.
