Contemporary seascape study of Milnthorpe Sands Cumbria, UK

🎨 Subject inspiration:
• An impressionistic representation the Kent estuary with a distant view of the Lakeland fells. As an plein air painter I am intruiged by the interplay between sky and sea and land and wish to convey the brightness of the sand banks and shadows casts by trees at the base of the hilly moorlands in the distance.

• This is an contemporary original one of a kind handmade oil painting size 12 x 10 inches in landscape orientation and of an impressionistic art style.
