Artwork description:

An original limited edition linoprint. Handprinted in my studio. As each print is individually handprinted, there may be slight variations in tone and colour. Each print has the title, edition number and signature hand-written in pencil underneath the image. This edition is printed in violet ink on heavy Somerset White Satin paper (300gsm) and the flowers are hand-coloured in pencil. The idea for the image comes from a millefleurs ('a thousand flowers') medieval tapestry in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, which features a rather sad looking unicorn in the midst of a field of flowers. I thought I'd give him a bit more of a starring role and with a spring in his step!
