Migration is a limited edition reduction Lino print.
Last year we had several Canada Goose families nest and have babies on the lakes in our small town. We used to walk out to see the little chicks who were just lovely, but they grew really quickly and flew away, this is to remind me of watching the chicks grow into geese.
A reduction Lino print is formed using layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block of Lino. This is one of an edition of 8 prints, because of the process of making a Lino print, each one has slight variations making each one of them original.
This is printed using Schmincke water based ink on Somerset Satin 300GSM paper.
The print is numbered, titled and signed on the front. The printed image is 10 x 15 cm, it is sold unmounted and unframed.
The image will be sent securely packaged by Royal Mail.
