Artwork description:

I grew up in Sweden, and have seen the moose in the fields many a misty morning, they are a truly majestic sight.

This linocut is printed from 5 separate plates, I start with the yellow and work my way up through the colors, until the last plate in a sooty black. I have kept the colors in forest shades of green and brown, with the yellow adding sunshine to the forest scene.
It is quite tricky inking up the plates, so please accept that small variations do occur, a sign of a handmade print.

Mighty is printed in an edition of only 40 prints, and I sign and number each print.
Please note you might not receive the number in the photo.

The premium printmaking paper measures 45 cm 54 cm (18" x 22") and there is plenty of paper surround for framing, especially at the front of the print, where the moose needs a bit of air.
The actual printed area is 45 cm x 40 cm (16" x 18")
The print is sold unframed, but you can see how I have thought it should be framed in the photo with frame.
